Get your check in ASAP: $75/person made out to "FHHS Class of '71 Reunion" send to : Stuart Nottingham, 88 Lake Royal, Louisburg, NC 27549. A complete and current list of all that are coming is at the bottom of this page. If you don't see that " special friend "on the list....give them a shout and get them on board! ***The Senior Yearbook CD's are IN!*** Price is $27 +S&H. Get your order in to Stuart Nottingham at scnottin@earthlink.net to purchase a copy. Stu will be contacting all that have ordered to arrange payment and delivery. We were even able to edit many of the typos from the yearbook on this cd. Stu says it looks GREAT, and has been going down "memory lane" all day...his yearbook having been lost for years. ***VOLUNTEERS NEEDED*** contact Don Wurzel at dwurzel@cox.rr.com if you can help out on June 17 at the picnic for clean up, etc. or for publicity prior to our reunion. Contact Harriet Singleton at Hecsc@aol.com if you can come one hour early to the Dinner/Dance and help with decor. That is ALL the time that Ft. Myers has allotted for us to decorate. WE NEED HELPERS! ***HTML HACKER NEEDED!*** We are having major problems trying to edit this tripod site. It can only be edited by "hacking the html code, " which none of us can really do. Is there someone that could help us, please? Our well-intentionned but inept attempts at upgrading the site have only resulted in the site being "downgraded." Mary Milia, Chris Milia's wife and Honorary Federal, has found ***85+*** teachers and counting! Wonderful job, Mary! Many thanks from all us Federals. ***Come Join Us at our "Infamous" Reunion Planning Chats! Next one is Sunday, May 20, 2001 at 3pm EDT.*** Very easy details on how to log on to the chat are below. Trust us that the Reunion Weekend is going to be High Class and all the "i's" are dotted, but if you have any lingering questions as to the achieved maturity of your fellow classmates...well, judge for yourself. It is a private chat site, in that only those that are visiting the homestead site can join in... which cuts down on, but does not entirely deter *just how shall i put this? * some "very colorful" and "humorously warped" peeps amongst us from adding to the frivolity and keeping reunion planning from being TOO businesslike. ***THE LAST "MISSING CLASSMATES LIST"*** was sent to the "email 71'ers" early this week. Please, contact either john_chilton@email.msn.com or kathysmit@aol.com ASAP if you have ANY info on these peeps! colleges attended is very helpful info. Jim Gallagher wants to know if any of us Feds want to get together for a golf outing around the reunion time. email jim at : gjpjjpr@aol.com if you are interested! Since we have had website failure occur recently, we will continue to maintain the other class website in tandem with this one: http://FHHS71.homestead.com/ The homestead site has a couple of nifty features that we don't have available through tripod: message boards and a chatroom. Both actually work! and are very easy to do. To do the chat : scroll down to the bottom of the first page, enter your name and click on "change"- otherwise you will get an error message. Then go ahead and chat. Catherine Tarabochia is a volunteer at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in DC and has kindly offered free tickets to our class. Tickets will be good for any day and time during our reunion weekend. Catherine works there on Saturday, June 16, 2001 from 10 am to 2 pm and can leave tickets at the box office for you and yours. Contact Catherine at gpia-cit@erols .com
We will be holding a raffle at the Sunday , June 17, 2001 from 10 am to 6pm All Class Picnic at Fort Hunt Park, to defray costs of the park reservation and to provide seed money for our next reunion. Please let us know if you can donate something for the raffle. As of now, we have a collectible Longaberger basket donated by Harriet Singleton and a nice Kohler (the sink and tub peeps) shirt donated by Steve Samson; donated by Deneen Crandell, employee of the CO penal system: one very desirable tee shirt inscribed, "Colorado State Penitentiary Bed and Breakfast;" women's Ann Klein II watch donated by Chris and Mary Milia. Please contact us at samson@pwsb.com with your raffle donations. good advertising for your business, by the way!
We will be putting captions on the photos on the photo page, as soon as someone with html code experience volunteers to help. Please bear with us in the meantime. There are NO grills available at Fort Hunt Park Pavillion A. If you want to grill on Sunday, June 17, 2001 then bring your own. We have the Pavillion from 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday.
